Although the original Pinecrest Lodge first began offering lodging accommodations in 1945, we’ve heard of roaring parties as far back as the 1920s when the main building was simply called The Tea Room. The Lodge has always welcomed artists, musicians and travelers who flock to Woodstock — widely acknowledged as the first stateside Colony of the Arts — for a unique and enjoyable immersion in "the good life.” With our restaurant, our mission is to serve up the tastiest comfort food in the Hudson Valley and to carry on the fine tradition of gathering old and new friends for drinks, eats, music, and laughter. Pull up a chair and join the party.
In recent times, the property fell from lofty heights into some disrepair and infamy. We're committed to honoring what made The Lodge successful for so many years while creating a “modern Woodstock” hospitality experience. Our team includes Levon Helm’s Midnight Ramble alum Brian Parillo, real estate and development expert Michael Skurnick, entertainment executive Jack Waterman, restauranteur Mary Hill (formerly of JOMA Cafe in West Shokan) and the principals behind the renowned Walker Architecture firm. Keep checking back here to learn more about our fully-redesigned cabins, pool and grounds slated for completion in 2017. In the meantime, enjoy our renovated bar and restaurant, which is expanding into a full-service operation, offering breakfast, brunch, dinner and late night nibbles as well as our 15 revamped and refreshed rooms that are currently available.
